Christoph Magnussen

Christoph Magnussen has been talking about the future of work, AI and New Work for over ten years. With his company Blackboat, which he founded in 2010, he supports companies in setting the right cultural and technological course. Lars Peter Feld

Lars P. Feld is one of the most influential economists in Germany. He was a member of the German Council of Economic Experts for over a decade, most recently as its chairman, and provided important impetus for economic and financial policy. His expertise includes economic policy, finance, new political economy and the economic analysis of law. Richard David Precht

Richard David Precht is one of Germany’s most prominent intellectuals. The doctor of philosophy, publicist and honorary professor of philosophy and aesthetics at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin is best known for his popular works on philosophy. His bestseller “Who am I – and if so, how many?” (2007) was his breakthrough with the general public. The book is an introduction to philosophy, combined with findings from brain research and psychology. Precht regularly writes essays and columns for major newspapers. In his ZDF program “Precht”, he searches for answers to the questions of our time together with prominent guests from politics, society and culture. Markus Lanz

Markus Lanz is one of Germany’s best-known television personalities. Since 2009, he has been shaping social discourse with his talk show of the same name on ZDF and has earned a reputation as an astute observer and attentive interlocutor. After a traineeship at Radio Hamburg, he worked as a presenter at RTL before moving to ZDF in 2008. In addition to his talk show, he also hosted the cooking program “Lanz kocht” and the ZDF cult show “Wetten, dass…?”. Together with Richard David Precht, he hosts the weekly podcast “Lanz & Precht” and his documentaries on political, social and cultural topics show him to be an attentive reporter and open-minded observer. Yaël Meier

Yaël Meier is one of the defining voices of Generation Z in the German-speaking world. Born in Lucerne in 2000, she began her career as an actress in award-winning Swiss film productions before breaking new ground as a journalist, columnist and entrepreneur. In 2020, together with Jo Dietrich, she founded the agency ZEAM, which helps companies such as Migros, Porsche and Allianz to not only reach Generation Z, but to really understand them. She combines media presence, strategic thinking and social sensitivity. Maher Al Kaabi

Maher Al Kaabi is a visionary leader and seasoned banker with over 30 years of experience in banking, IT and family businesses. He has extensive expertise in board of directors, Islamic banking, corporate and retail banking, risk management, finance, operations and technology, sales and distribution and business development. He serves on various corporate boards, is actively involved in numerous start-ups and is a co-founder of Blink. He is currently an advisor to the CEO of Alserkal Group (a 165+ year old family business) where he serves as an independent board member. Heinrich Gröller

After studying engineering at ETH Zurich, Heinrich Gröller began his career in restructuring at Roland Berger before setting up a pallet plant in the Czech Republic himself and accompanying the rapid growth of the Schiebel Group as Managing Director for several years. He took over the family’s real estate investments 18 years ago and developed them into a broad-based family office. At the same time, he is currently a venture partner at Speedinvest in the climate and industrial tech sector. He is also on the board of the Federation of Austrian Industries and Agenda Austria and on the advisory board of the Digital Real Estate Association and the Initiative for Teaching Entrepreneurship. Ulrike Herrmann

Ulrike Herrmann is one of Germany’s most distinguished business journalists. For many years, she has analyzed political and economic events as a business correspondent for the “taz” newspaper. Trained as a bank clerk, she studied history and philosophy, worked at the Körber Foundation and was press spokeswoman for Hamburg’s Senator for Equal Opportunities, Krista Sager. Her origins in Hamburg’s middle class shape her clear view of social justice and economic power structures. Herrmann is known for her ability to make economic contexts understandable, for example in her highly regarded books on growth criticism and climate policy. Franz Schellhorn

Franz Schellhorn has headed the Vienna-based think tank Agenda Austria, which deals with relevant economic policy issues, since February 2013. He studied commercial sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, graduating in 1997. Prior to his studies, he completed a banking apprenticeship at Creditanstalt in Vienna and Salzburg, but did not return to the financial sector after university, instead joining the daily newspaper “Die Presse”, where he would work for 15 years. From 2004 to 2013, Franz Schellhorn was head of the business department at “Die Presse”, and from 2011 he was also a member of the editorial board.
