Tara Shirvani is an internationally recognized expert in sustainability, innovation and climate policy. Her impressive academic career began at Cambridge University, where she received her postgraduate degree at the age of just 21. Shortly afterwards, she completed her PhD at Oxford University at the age of 24. Her career has included advising the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on sustainable investment and ESG strategies.

Tara Shirvani is co-founder of the Climate Crisis Advisory Group, which works intensively on climate protection measures. With her bestseller “Plastic Eaters and Turbo Trees”, she published the first popular science book on synthetic biology and climate protection and made a name for herself. She has been recognized for her expertise and contribution to climate policy with the Forbes 30 under 30 Award and the Aviva Women of the Future Award, among others. Her work aims to promote innovative approaches to combating climate change and to establish sustainable solutions on a global level.
