Tara Shirvani is an internationally recognized expert in sustainability, innovation and climate policy. Her impressive academic career began at Cambridge University, where she received her postgraduate degree at the age of just 21. Shortly afterwards, she completed her PhD at Oxford University at the age of 24. Her career has included advising the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on sustainable investment and ESG strategies.

With her bestseller “Plastic Eaters and Turbo Trees”, she published the first popular science book on synthetic biology and climate protection and made a name for herself.
