Paul Collier as a speaker at re.comm 24: A visionary economist with global influence

We are delighted to welcome Sir Paul Collier as a speaker at re.comm 24. Paul Collier is Professor of Economics and Public Policy at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government and Academic Director of the International Growth Centre, a collaboration between LSE and Oxford University. His research and publications on the management of natural resources, including “The hungry planet – how can we increase prosperity without plundering the earth”, have gained global recognition.

In his books “Social Capitalism! My Manifesto Against the Decay of Our Society” and “The End of Greed”, written with Professor Sir John Kay, Collier criticizes the misguided developments in public policy and the private sector that have led to polarization and the decline of poor regions. His forthcoming book “Aufstieg der Abgehängten – wie vernachlässigte Regionen wieder erfolgreich werden können” highlights global success stories and offers insights into the revitalization of regions that have been left behind.

Be there and be inspired by Paul Collier’s forward-looking perspectives at re.comm 24!
